Sandbach ‘s Day of Dance will have an international flavour this year when Danze de Sans Chuse, a dance groupe from Zaragoza, Spain arrive to join in the fun. Danze de Sans Chuse will perform spectacular dances from the Aragon region accompanied by traditional Spanish music.

Lynn Purcell, organiser of Sandbach Day of Dance, said “We were absolutely thrilled when Danze de Sans Chuse confirmed that they would be here on 9 September to dance alongside ten English Morris Dancing teams. The colourful Spanish costumes and wonderful traditional music will add to the variety already on offer from our Cotswold, North West and Border Morris groups. The teams will perform from 10:30am to 3:00pm by the Cobbles, Market Hall and Old Hall. As well as watching the dancing, visitors can have a go themselves at free ‘Give it a Go’ sessions in St. Mary's Church Hall. No experience is needed since the Morris dancers explain what to do. When not watching the dancers, you can browse the Town's wonderful Indoor and Outdoor Markets, enjoy the BBQ at the Old Hall or the light refreshments in St Mary's Church Hall. Let’s hope the Spanish team bring some sunshine with them!” Tendeñera, Danze de San Chuse en los Pilares 2016
