Rock On Christmas

Celebrities will be in attendance at the Christmas Market this year when

Rock & Roll drummer Manny Elias (Tears For Fears, Peter Gabriel, Dolly Parton, Joni Mitchell) and his wife actress Deborah Bouchard (Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Cold Feet) join in the fun. Instead of making music Manny has created a range of Chilli Condiments- fittingly branded Bongo’s. The opening bars of Bongo’s chilli business includes five varieties and a Chilli Lovers Gift Box.

Response to CEC Consultation:

Local Plan - Main Modifications

Sandbach Town Council is pleased to announce that new town and village entry signs are in the course of being installed at several key locations across Sandbach.

The project was started in 2009 by Cllr Graham Bell, who did an excellent job on the design and specification for the signs, but although a new sign at Wheelock Wharf was installed at that time, other signs were put on hold in the absence of funds.

Sandbach Town Council has set up a small Working Group made of 5 Councillors and 3 Community Representatives to look at Air Quality in Sandbach, work with Cheshire East Council and contribute to plans for improving air quality related to traffic in Sandbach.

We are looking for volunteers as Community Representatives to join the Working Group.  We aim to meet roughly every 2 months in the evening (6.00 to 7.30ish) at the Sandbach Literary Institution.
