Defibrillator Locations in Sandbach

When someone is having a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), knowing the exact location of your nearest defibrillator (AED) can make all the difference between life and death.


AEDs were designed to be used by virtually anyone with little or no training or experience.

meaning you can respond and provide immediate life-saving treatment, before the ambulance service arrives.

From 1st August the Legal Advice Clinic Manners Pimblett Solicitors of Sandbach have been running from the Town Hall will move to Ashfields Primary Care Centre.

“The move has come about as renovations are due to start on Sandbach`s historic Town Hall at the end of July" explains Rob Pimblett, solicitor and proprietor of Manners Pimblett Solicitors,10 Congleton Road, Sandbach.

Sandbach Town Council has been awarded a £10,000 grant from the Portas Initiative and a Town Team was established to spend the award within Sandbach Town Centre.  The Town Team is made up of businesses representatives from Sandbach as well as local councillors. One of the initiatives is a trial ‘Shop Front Improvement Scheme’.  This will assist the renovation of some shop fronts within the town centre which uses £4000 of the grant.

To celebrate National Independent Retailer month in July, Town Centre Manager, Amanda Wagg, has teamed up with local Design and Marketing Agency, Blueye Media to offer an amazing prize to participants of July's Shop Doctor scheme.  Firstly, all participants will receive a free consultation from two of Sandbach's leading retailers then participants will be entered into a free prize draw.

Retail experts from Waitrose and Boots will be visiting any participating retailer’s shop during July and will be on hand to offer advice and guidance to help maximise sales.

Sandbach Charter Market Review

Sandbach’s historic Thursday Charter Market has been a significant feature of the town for hundreds of years and continues to add character to the town to this day. As with many traditional markets nationally, recent years have seen difficult trading conditions and Sandbach Town Council recognise the importance of being proactive in stopping and hopefully reversing this decline to ensure that we retain the character and vitality that the Charter Market brings to Sandbach.
