Councillor Bleddyn Davies

 Councillor Bleddyn Davies

I was co-opted to fill a vacancy for a Councillor for Elworth Ward in October 2015, so I am relatively new to local government. I am an academic lawyer working as a senior lecturer in public law at Liverpool John Moores University. I studied law at Liverpool University and I am now a member of the Society of Legal Scholars and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I have lived in Sandbach since 2012 and have come to love it.  Serving on the council is my way of giving something back to a community which has accepted me so warmly.  I’m currently embarking on a number of projects, primarily aimed at reducing litter and dog fouling in the town.  It’s a great honour to represent the people of Elworth on the Town Council and I intend to do them proud.
