Following a public consultation exercise in 2022, the Council approved its Corporate Strategy 2022 -25 on the 14th of December 2022.
The Corporate Strategy underpins everything the Council does and progress against it is delivered and managed through Council and its various committees and staff.
The Council has set itself and the Town 5 corporate objectives which are:
- A Prosperous Town
- A Sustainable Environment
- An Engaged Community
- An agenda for Health and Wellbeing
- A Council to Deliver
And there are over 100 agreed actions which aim to deliver these objectives – the Council will continuously review its priorities and progress against these objectives, so that we are transparent about what is being achieved.
