With its large open plan area and variety of facilities, the ballroom is suitable for many activities.

The Ballroom offers the largest and most flexible meeting space, seating up to 170 people theatre style. A third of the room can be partitioned off, creating a more intimate space for smaller numbers or providing a breakout area.

The stage is ideal for presentations or speakers and can be extended to accommodate other event set ups. The Ballroom has an attached commercial kitchen providing a convenient location to accommodate catering and refreshments for any event.

The spacious Ballroom is perfect for parties, celebrations and functions of any size. Whether it’s a Birthday, Anniversary, Engagement party, a Banquet or a Ball, the Events Team will work with you to make it happen.

The Ballroom’s high ceilings and period features crossed with a contemporary look, and superb lighting guarantees a talking point amongst guests. With the large, flexible stage area for performances, bands or DJs this room is guaranteed to impress.

For more intimate gatherings the room’s capacity can be discretely reduced to create a smaller event space.

The Ballroom’s premium grade maple dance floor, is ideal for all forms of dancing, soft games or keep fit. The additional staging can be configured to suit performances, theatre, cat walk shows or presentations. Superb stage lighting, PA and AV systems all provide the extra services that complete these types of events.

All events can be accommodated in any manner of room layouts. Events requiring catering are supported by the adjoining full service kitchen and bar service can be provided within the Ballroom or in the upstairs Charter Room.

Boardroom

The Boardroom is situated on the ground floor of the Town Hall, and comes with its own private access. This room is suitable for training, meetings and presentations. Coming with its own projector and speakers.

The Boardroom comes with its own small kitchen space and toilets. It can be used for children birthday parties, Baby showers or small group classes.

The Boardroom offers an attractive space, perfect for small gatherings accommodating up to 40 people theatre style. It can be used for clubs, training days, courses and wellness exercises.

Charter Room

The Charter Room is extremely flexible, with the option of a full bar (which can be closed off for a more private and formal meeting.)

The Charter Room is situated above the Ballroom and can accommodate conference seating accommodating up to 35 people theatre style. This room is suitable for training, meetings and presentations. A large window ensures that the room is flooded with natural light.

The Charter Room offers an attractive carpeted room, perfect for small gatherings accommodating up to 35 people theatre style. It can be used as a cool down room in conjunction with the Ballroom or hired as a separate facility.
