Sandbach Town Council consults its YOUNG residents!

Sandbach Town Council is working in partnership with Cheshire East Council’s Youth Service to find out from young people what they want and need from Sandbach, and what could be done to local facilities to improve their experiences and well being.

The Town Council is busy developing plans for a possible weekly youth club starting later this year, run by professional youth workers, and has also been supporting the development of a skate park in Sandbach for some time, but it would like to refresh any previous consultations and make sure as many different groups of young people are consulted as possible.

The consultation which can be found by clicking here, starts next week and is planned for a 6 WEEK PERIOD, with the issuing of an online questionnaire, but also we plan to carry out ‘live’ consultations around and about the town on a THURSDAY EVENING between 6.30pm and 8pm starting on Thursday 7th March and ending on Friday 19th April. We will be contacting schools and other organisations involving young people to ensure we receive as much feedback from as many sources as possible over this period.

The Town Council is very keen to connect with its younger residents and to help facilitate improvements to services to them  – please do get in touch if you have any comments or queries about this consultation and, above all, please complete a questionnaire – the link is available here: https://forms.office.com/e/1AMqSGE813
